Ford specifically chose DUB to debut its 2010 Ford Taurus SHO at the L.A. kick off event for the Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour on Sunday, March 22. Having recently debuted at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show this past February, Ford wanted DUB to unveil a mildly modified version of the already stunning new Taurus SHO. To compliment the already sleek design of the car, which features a sculpted hood, pronounced front fenders and a character line that runs from the side vent to the trailing edge of the rear fenders a more aggressive stand and fender-filling 24-inch Dropstars Wheels, as well as new tires, were added to complete the look visually.
The new Taurus SHO makes good use of the new twin turbocharged EcoBoost V6 that has been making its way through the Ford and Lincoln lineups in nearly every new model introduction. In SHO trim, the EcoBoost makes 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque. Regardless of your take on the old Taurus, this 2010 edition looks to offer a level of technology and style never before offered for $37,995. Expect to see it in dealers this summer, as well as on the cover of the next issue of DUB with Ice Cube. Photos: Rich Calbay blog comments powered by Disqus |
